Our work environment
We understand that varying work environments lead to great results. So, whether it's a quiet space to focus or an open area to bounce ideas, our facilities have it covered. We are based on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven where we have collaborative offices and modern lab facilities nestled in pockets of green space.
Our office
Find our main office at the High Tech Campus, Eindhoven. We have a complete floor of 600 m2 and various zones that promote thought, creativity, and teamwork. With 6 meeting rooms of various sizes, you'll find a good spot for open discussions or calls. The urge for some off-topic talk might carry you to our living room, where you can grab a coffee, sink into a sofa, and chat with your teammates.
Our labs
Working on cutting-edge technology means putting your concepts to the test. Ideas become prototypes, prototypes become products. We do a lot of that in our various labs at Carbyon. Our in-house chemical laboratory is where we create sorbent samples and do preliminary testing. In our large research lab, we can characterize the performance of our sorbent with different high-end characterization setups. The lab also houses 3D printers and other prototyping instruments to quickly bring imagination to realization. When ideas pass the first tests, we test them at scale in the proof of concept lab, where we develop our CO2-capturing process and equipment with outdoor air.
Working from home
It's no secret that the real magic happens in our office space and labs. Here, our teams break through problems together and light bulb moments glow brighter in good company. Though we encourage in-person collaboration, we understand the need for flexibility. That's why we offer the option to balance your agenda by working from home twice a week.
"I am happy that Carbyon provides the opportunity to work flexibly. It helps me in my work as a researcher and it perfectly blends with my family situation. I'm able to drop off my son at school before I start my working day!"
- Anna Todinova Senior Researcher
Working remotely
Life isn't a finite science. Sometimes it takes, or calls, you elsewhere. Whether it's a change of scenery or simple logistics, we offer the option to work remotely for up to one month per year. Extend a family visit abroad, immerse yourself in new sights and sounds, it's up to you. Just let us know when and how you'd like to use your time away and continue contributing from afar.
