Carbyon in a nutshell

At Carbyon, we aim to restore the atmospheric carbon balance using breakthrough technology and unique machine design that scales economically and durably. In other words, we contribute to saving the planet by capturing carbon dioxide directly from air.

We do this with a strong and talented multidisciplinary team (50 people and counting!). Coming from different cultural backgrounds (14+ nationalities) our team brings a wide range of skills; varying from Mechanical Engineering up to Electrical Engineering, and from Marketing up to Business Management.

While being a diverse team both educationally and culturally, we are committed to making a positive impact on the world around us. Being known for being opend-minded and challenging the status quo, we're united by Carbyon's mission. That is was moves us.

The time is now

Ever since Carbyon was founded (back in 2019), our team has achieved quite some promising milestones. From fundamentally proving our chemical heart of our technology, to our proof of concept up to succesfully closing Series A investment round (with wich we received €15.3M). Next up is launching our first outdoor machine, which enables us to gradually work towards market entry (here's our complete timeline of milestones). This brings us to the sales momentum. The Direct Air Capture market is about to explode, there's 150+ competitors out there and we're equipped with a unique piece of technology (underscored by our investors). And that's why we're looking for a strong Sales Leader. Someone who’ll explore opportunities across various sub-markets, regions, and countries.

Throughout, as our Sales Manager you'll build relationships with companies potentially resulting in partnerships worldwide, identify high-impact opportunities, and provide tailored strategic solutions by evaluating the needs and projects of prospective customers. All of this combined results in prospects becoming actual buying customers. And with that, you drive business growth, and ultimately revenue to make sure we’re becoming commercially successful too (next to tackling climate change with our solution).

Meet your new manager

The challenge is huge! To reverse climate change, we need to capture gigatons of CO2 from the air. This means we need a vast number of customers using our machines. But it's not just the volume; the challenge also involves building an industry and redefining the way we deal with CO2 on earth. CO2 is not just a problem but an important ingredient in our products, ranging from concrete to future fuels or your daily salad. CO2 is a key component of our everyday life. You can change this landscape for good. This does not happen overnight, as it requires the evolution of multiple industries. We need you to be passionate about change and have the patience to help this evolution.
