Role
Now that our technology aligns with market needs, it’s time to drive new business. This is where you step in as our Sales Manager. With your leadership you enter the emerging Direct Air Capture market, to explore opportunities across various sub-markets, regions, and countries. Throughout, you’ll build lasting relationships that result in reaching customers worldwide, driving business growth and ultimately generating revenue.
Responsibilities
The role as Sales Manager offers significant flexibility and requires an entrepreneurial spirit. We’ve outlined key responsibilities below.
You drive growth by exploring opportunities to establish business in new regions and countries and to build international partnerships.
You provide guidance and set up clear commercial processes. You also establish a motivating framework with targets and KPIs, and ensure necessary follow-up and adjustments.
You provide clarity in translating the commercial strategy into the sales of DAC solutions, focusing on a clear business model and strong value proposition that creates recurring revenues.
You ensure Carbyon is well-known among prospects by attending events and leveraging targeted marketing activities.

Job requirements
Our ideal candidate is someone who
Has at least 10 years of international business development and sales experience in a relevant environment.
Brings strong experience in selling into industrial projects, working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
Is strong in initiating and scaling new business.
Has solid experience in a related industry like chemical, renewables etc. (preferred)
Has experience or understanding in environments such as EPC, process industries, chemicals, renewables, or industrial gases.
Possesses the ability to financially assess the feasibility of business and use cases.
Is a born networker who excels at building relationships in an international setting and long-term sales.
Brings the ability to easily adapt to changing market situations and can present the appropriate solutions.
Is strong analytically, which results in the ability to identify trends, exploit new opportunities and to make informed decisions based on analysis.
Has strong work ethics and integrity: uphold ethical standards and the ability to act with integrity in all business matters to achieve Carbyon’s goals, objectives – and ultimately – our mission.
Is fluent in English. Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
Is willing to frequently travel internationally.
